BIO
Since I was a child I grew up with art, it shaped my life and how I see the world. My love for art began from a young age, as far as my memory goes back. I remember sitting on the floor in my parents' house staring at paintings of past artists, not fully understanding the meaning of the pieces but knowing to respect them. I could even feel their distinguished presence in the house. My Father, who also had a keen interest in art and History, had a great influence in my life. A fun and exciting day trip for my father and me involved going to Art Galleries. Which wouldn't have been the most exciting thing for the average seven year-old. To me, though, it was a privilege to see art work by the Masters, such as Van Gogh's Sunflowers or work from other such renowned Artists. I studied in Limavady Art College for one year, though regrettably had to leave due to personal reasons. However, during my time at the college I was introduced to what can now only be described as an extension of my arm, the DSLR! I am now studying my A levels in photography at Belfast Metropolitan College. I have taken a deep passion for photography, including the history to understanding the technical workings of the modern DSLR. At the moment, my mind is not set on a certain subject. I'm staying open-minded so as to take full advantage of ideas and opportunities that may pass my way. I follow my heart so that the beauty and feelings that cause me to produce my work will hopefully be felt by you, the viewer.
