Subtle yet strong with asymetric balance. Too much symmetry makes for a boring outlook. Life is all about chaos - equilibrium is rare but the search yields the beauty of it's mystery.
My photographs record my interplay with life and as such become a visual diary for my geriatric years when my brain cells and eyes may not be in focus but someone else can describe my photographic memories to me!
Canon EOS Rebel SLR w/ 35-80mm lens and 75-300mm Sigma telefoto lens; various filters, tripods; I also have a Canon PowerShot S500 (Digital Elph) using a 1.0 GB Compact Flash. I recently acquired a Nikon D50 digital SLR with a Nikkor AF-S 18-55 mm, f/3.5-5.6G lens and an additional Nikkor AF-S 55-200mm, f/1.4-5.6G telefoto lens. I have also added the Nikon Speedlight SB-800. This month (May 2010) I bought a Lumix DMC-FZ35. I have also purchased the Canon EOS 7D which I love.
Nature, Landscapes, Animals, Events, Some Weddings, Spontaneous; Documentary materials, specifically dental forensics. I just love taking pictures of whatever is around me. Not much into portraits (family is private).
