Cameron Paton

I’m a passionate Freediver from South Africa, I most enjoy diving with bottlenose dolphins, various sharks, rays and occasionally whales. I try not to limit myself to just the macro fauna and also take time to appreciate the smaller creatures and critters that inhabit our environment. I love the treasure hunt of going out and looking for things to photograph underwater, everything from drum lines and shark nets, to free divers, to split shot portraits, surfers, waves breaking! If there is something in the ocean and my camera lens can capture it, then I want to photograph it! I do also enjoy my terrestrial photography, especially wildlife in some of our big five game reserves! I’m always a sucker for burnt orange sunrises and sunsets and capturing emotion on an animals face!
